Society was involved with fascination by the U.F.O. phenomena since 1947 when Kenneth Arnold saw first Flying Saucers in USA. The industry of toys designed action figures that converted that icon into a subject that can be touched and enjoyed. (This is not a sales/trade site. Only a Virtual Museum. ATLANTIC Galaxy (Humbot)
In 1981 british company of action figures "Atlantic" proficient in producing small soldiers from the IIWW in the traditional scale of miniatures (0.01Mts) developed an strange new line of action figures based on the invasion and future wars from aliens beings and a robot force from the Earth sent to protect mankind.
Humbot (Humanoid Robot) was a short line of figures aprox. 3 3/4" size designed to be a cheap toy with to play in the beach or in the leisure time at home.
Figures were made in a single shape and need to be painted because this was the regular style who ATLANTIC works.
Early 80's were years of the start of "Arcades" "Personal computers" and unforgetable games like "Invaders" "Galaxian" or many other.
Probably most of the boys that (like me) were born in the early 70's remember well that affair and probably will recognize the particular pesonality of all that magic in this toy line.
