In the fall of the 70's MEGO Corp got a corporative relationship with Takara to release in USA and Europe its line of little action figures called "Microman".
In the USA and Europe, the line was resurrected under the name of "Micronauts: they came from the inner space".
A great success in the market during 1978, 1979 and 1980, Micronauts reached Spain between other similar lines like the early Star Wars from Kenner.
The Micronauts pretend to be alien beings coming from a distant Universe called "Home World" where persons has the size of an action figure 3 3/4".
Some of the heroes scape from the clutches of the evil Baron Karza with their strange spacecrafts and managed to reach Earth.
Strange alien beings with silver heads. Robots... monster creatures... human beings... powerfull humanoids like Time Traveller... princes like Force Commander...
They really were the first shot of the toy industry to renew old action figures concept based in cowboys or soldiers and introduce a new concept of action figure based in the future, life out of the Earth and the war in the space.
